The New Zealand Rheumatology Association (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and values the information that you share with us.

We use your personal information to administer our association and to provide services to our members, including:
- to facilitate a public database of member rheumatologists;
- to process and administer memberships; and
- to send newsletters and invitations for events to our members.
We will take reasonable steps in the circumstances to check that the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete, relevant, not misleading and up to date.
- What happens if we cannot collect your information
You are not required to you provide us with your personal information. If you do not provide us with your personal information, some or all of the following may happen:
- we may not be able to provide our services to you, either to the same standard or at all; and
- we may not be able to provide you with information about services that you may want, including information about courses and seminars.

We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
We may share your personal information with third parties if doing so is for or directly related to the purposes for which you have provided the information to us, where required or permitted by law or where you give us your permission to do so.

- any parties necessary to provide our services;
- any parties necessary to provide you with access to our website and external IT service providers to assist in ensuring the security of our computer network is maintained;
